- We're pleased to announce the winner of our latest prize draw at the Nanaimo Boat Show. Congratulations to Walter, who will make good use of the $100 gift certificate as he's in the midst of his annual boat maintenance. Enjoy it! We'll draw the next prize at the end of the field season, late September.
- The United Nations has declared May 22 as the International Day for Biological Diversity and the theme this year is invasive alien species. Read the article from the David Suzuki Foundation.
- The Canadian Boat Survey is heading back to the friendly north! World Wildlife Fund is hosting an Aquatic Invasive Species information night in Prince Rupert. See you at the Fishermen's Hall the night of March 4, 2009 at 6pm.
- Boaters at the 2009 Victoria Boat and Outdoor Show were entertained by our "Spot the Invader" game. Thank you to the show's organizers for an interesting event.
